Who we are

Neo is run by EyeCity Edtech Solutions Limited (RC 1312208), 33B Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria ("EyeCity"). For anything about your data, email operations@eyecity.africa.

What Neo holds and why

• Your account and business profile: your name, email, business name and type, city, contact details, price list, FAQ and the bank or payment-link details you choose to print on invoices. Used to do the work you ask for.
• Your clients and documents: client names and contact details you enter, and the quotes, contracts and invoices Neo prepares. When a client accepts a document online we record the name they type, the time and their IP address as proof of acceptance.
• Chats: your conversation with Neo, kept for 30 days and then deleted.
• Images: photos and screenshots you send, deleted after 7 days. Post images Neo makes for you are kept until you delete your account.
• Usage: how many AI calls your account made and their cost, so we can keep the pilot within its budget.

We use this data because you asked us to provide the service (contract) and, for each optional connection, because you agreed (consent). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

• Hosting: Neo's server is an Oracle Cloud server in Toronto, Canada.
• AI: your messages and images are sent to Anthropic (the Claude API) to generate replies. Anthropic processes them in the United States under its commercial terms and does not use API data to train its models.
• Website checks: when you ask for one, your website address is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights.

These transfers outside Nigeria rely on the providers' contractual safeguards, as allowed under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Neo is not yet connected to your WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Google Drive or website. When those features arrive, each will ask for your permission first and this notice will be updated.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or export your data, or delete it. To delete everything, open the menu in Neo and tap Delete my account: your profile, chats, clients, documents and images are removed straight away. We keep only anonymous cost totals. You can also email us.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

Sign-in links work once. Data travels over HTTPS. Neo never asks for card numbers, PINs, passwords or payment secret keys. If we have a data breach that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission within 72 hours.

Data deletion for Meta

When Facebook or Instagram connections launch, you will be able to remove Neo from your Facebook settings and ask us to delete any data received from Meta using the same Delete my account option or by email.
